About Me

Hi! (In the interest of full disclosure, this photo is a couple years old.)

Dear Blog Visitor,

First, thanks for coming over. My blog traffic is dismal and there is a direct correlation between the number of hits I receive and my self-esteem. My self-esteem also thanks you.

Second, this page is supposed to be about me, but I don't find myself all that interesting. I'm more interested in you - who you are and what you're all about

Third, I know I do have to talk about me.

Fourth, I'm a writer and currently unpublished.

Fifth, I'm married and a mom. Both are going wonderfully, thanks for asking!

Sixth, I have a real job too. Though I don't like to think of writing as a 'not real' job. What do you think? Real or not real? (Ten points to you if you don't need me to tell you why that last sentence is awesome.)

Seventh, I read a frightening amount. I got an e-reader for my birthday a couple years ago just so I would stop amassing hard copy books. I haven't stopped, I just got better at hiding them.

Eighth, writing makes me happy.

Ninth, I'm really shooting for ten points here.
